Prepare your hearing
After lodging the appeal before the Court, your lawyer will receive you in order to prepare you for the hearing.
If you have additional documents to provide to the Court prior to the hearing, your lawyer will consider whether it is relevant to your case and, if so, will provide it to the Court by the deadline.
The hearing before the Court takes place before three judges or with a single judge, depending on whether the procedure was been registered under normal procedure or accelerated procedure (shorter hearing times). The « rapporteur » presents his examination of the file and then the asylum seeker is interviewed using, if necessary, an interpreter. The lawyer pleads at the end.
In order to prepare for the hearing, we would recommend you to go to the Court to attend a hearing and see what kind of questions can be asked.
